Peterson SBS provides a comprehensive range of services in the field of passenger and freight transportation by helicopter.
Safety First
Safety is of the utmost importance whilst flying passengers to offshore installations. For this reason, our services are very much focussed on that aspect. Peterson SBS obtained I.A.T.A. cat. B (freight forwarder) and E (cargo ground handler) certification. In addition, we initiated and co-financed the helicopter safety awareness film The Magic of Safety, which was produced in partnership with southern North Sea operators.
Helicopter Sharing
With the aim of reducing the number of flights to and from installations – and thereby reducing the cost to operators - Peterson SBS developed and introduced a helicopter-sharing concept in the Netherlands. It proved to be a success and has now been further developed in cooperation with participating operators and will in due course be rolled out in other offshore areas.
