BRC
The British Retail Consortium has produced a range of globally recognised BRC Standards for manufacturers. Most UK retailers will only do business with suppliers who have been awarded certification to the appropriate BRC Global Standard.


HACCP
`Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points` is a system that identifies, evaluates and controls hazards that are significant to food safety. All food for human consumption can be certified to the HACCP standard.


ISO22000
ISO 22000:2005 specifies requirements for a food safety management system that demonstrates a company’s ability to control food safety hazards

VVAK
Dutch VVAK guidelines provide a uniform process certification system for producers of food for human and animal consumption.
