Landing Inspections

Peterson Control Union is an EU-approved control and supervisory inspection company, authorised to issue certificates of unloading and release for consumption as per EC Regulation 800/99.

Additionally, we are approved to issue certificates per EC Regulation 615/98, covering the supervision of transport and unloading of live cattle. Live cattle (bovine animals) must fulfil the animal health requirements as laid down in Council Directive 2004/68/EC . This Directive harmonises the various rules and establishes general animal health conditions for import into the territory of the Community of bovine animals.

In EC regulation 615/98, the payment of restitutions in the case of exports of agricultural products is also regulated.
